A hot day in August 2026. I went to see Nagatsura Bay. Some dead trees still remain, perhaps affected by the 2011 tsunami. They are a reminder of what happened, but there is also something quietly beautiful about them.

It was very calm that day as well. Crabs wandered around in the shallows, while the sounds of cicadas and wild birds echoed across the bay.
